Terms of Service

  • We charge for Premium features on a subscription basis. Auto-renewal applies.
  • Don't upload illegal or offensive content. We will ban you.
  • You own your data, but you give us permission to process it to provide the service.
  • We are not liable if the app glitches and you miss a tax deadline (so please double-check your reports!).

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, downloading the App, or using Recepo ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these restrictions. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.

2. Subscriptions and Payments

Certain features of the Service are billed on a subscription basis ("Subscription(s)").

  • Auto-Renewal: Your Subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or yearly) unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Billing: You authorize us (via our payment processors like Stripe, Apple, or Google) to charge the applicable subscription fee to your payment method.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your Subscription at any time through your Account Settings or the respective App Store regarding mobile subscriptions. You will continue to have access to the Service through the end of your billing period.
  • Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law or strict App Store policies.
  • Free Trials: If you sign up for a free trial, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee upon expiration unless cancelled prior.

3. User Generated Content

Our Service allows you to upload receipts, comments, and other usage data ("User Content"). You retain all rights to your content.

  • License: You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, and use your User Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service (e.g., OCR processing).
  • Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you upload. You agree not to upload false documents or illegal materials.
  • Monitoring: We have the right (but not the obligation) to monitor User Content to enforce these Terms.

4. Prohibited Conduct

To ensure a safe environment for all users, you agree NOT to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity.
  • Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, offensive, or promotes hate or violence (Zero Tolerance Policy).
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or hack the Service.
  • Harass, abuse, or harm another person or user.

Enforcement: We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate your account without refund if you violate these rules, specifically regarding objectionable content or abusive behavior.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recepo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly.

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Indonesia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
