1. Data We Collect

Personal Data

Name and email address provided during registration. Required for account management.

Scanned Content

Images and PDFs of receipts you upload. Analyzed to extract merchant details and amounts.

Analytics

Anonymous usage stats (e.g., app crashes, feature usage) to help us improve stability.

Financial Info

We do not store credit card details. Payments are handled securely by App Store & Google Play.

2. Device Permissions

To provide our core features, we request specific permissions on your mobile device. You can revoke these at any time in settings.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on trusted industry leaders to process and store data securely.

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and scanned receipts while your account is active. If your subscription ends or is cancelled, we will keep your data for a grace period of 30 days to allow you to reactivate your account or export your data. After this 30-day period, all your data will be permanently deleted from our servers, unless we are legally required to retain it.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your data is securely stored on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) servers located in secure data centers. We employ industry-standard encryption (AES-256) for data at rest and TLS for data in transit to protect your information from unauthorized access.

6. How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect specifically to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve our receipt scanning and expense management services.
  • Process receipt images using AI to extract transaction details (merchant, date, amount).
  • Communicate with you about your account, security updates, and administrative messages.

7. Google User Data & Limited Use Policy

  • We do not use Google user data for serving advertisements.
  • We do not transfer Google user data to third parties except as necessary to provide or improve the app's user-facing features, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable laws.
  • We do not allow humans to read your Google user data unless: you have obtained your affirmative agreement for specific messages; it is necessary for security purposes (such as investigating a bug or abuse); to comply with applicable law; or for the app's internal operations and the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

8. Data Control & Deletion

You are in control

You can request account deletion at any time directly within the app settings. This action is permanent and will instantly remove:

  • Your personal account details
  • All scanned receipt history and images
  • All analytical data tied to your user ID
